AnyTackle is considering holding a open fishing pike session on Debdale in Gorton, Manchester.
This will be a fun day out spinning or dead baiting it's up to you. It's a free venue therefore, there will be no need for any tickets and no money will be involved. As a gesture of goodwill AnyTackle will offer free t-shirts for the biggest pike landed on the day.
It would be a good day for us all to meet up and put faces to the names on here. As well as this we can try and find out what pike the place really holds and if the stories we here are true. Therefore, the more anglers we get to come along the better.
Even if you are not into pike fishing please do feel free to come along and I am sure more experienced angler will help you get into it and show you how it's all done.
This date will be set very soon but I do know it will be a Sunday. Probably 4-6 hours session.
If weather permits I might even set-up a small coffee station, and some snacks to keeps us going through the cold.
