1 Who is AnyTackle?
AnyTackle was originally started in a small house in Manchester as a mail order only company. Within 12 months the company expanded, and a new shop was opened in Stockport 2008 selling all types of fishing tackle and accessories.
From the initial idea in 2005 to now AnyTackle has been steadily growing despite the recent freezing winters and cold summers. This is not to say the company has not experienced problems as a result of such severe weather conditions but we have done everything possible to correct them as quickly as possible.
In 2011 AnyTackle 99p fishing tackle auctions idea was developed and we decided to close the shop in order to focus on Mail order only. We believe our be-spoke only Fishing Tackle auction site is the first of it's kind.
In May 2011 AnyTackle had a change of management in order to deal with the growing demand for our products and to improve delivery and customer service.
2 When do the new auctions get listed?
We don't have set dates when we start new auctions as this depends on the stock availability. From time to time we will have 1000s of auctions running and when stocks are low or we are looking for new bargains within the wholesale industry then only few auctions might be listed. Our long term aim is to have at least 500 auctions running at any time.
3 How do I register?
It's very simple. Have a quick look at the top right hand corner of this screen and you will see a Login and Register links. Just click on the Register link and complete a very simple form.
Once you have completed all the required fields click on the 'Register Now' button and you are ready to bid.
5 Do you really offer free delivery?
Yes, we have listened to our customers and made our ordering process as simple as possible. All of our buy now or auction products are posted to you free of charge.
6 How long does the delivery take?
Our aim to deliver your order within 5 to 8 working days. Working days don't include weekends and national holidays. We use a number of different postal services from Royal Mail to DHL.
7 Can I collect?
Sorry we don't allow collection as our insurance does not cover public access to our premises.
8 What payment options do you have?
PayPal is the only payment method we accept at the moment. We no longer accept payments over the phone, cheques or postal orders.
9 How long do I have to make a payment after the auction has ended?
We allow 24 hours for the payment to be made after the auction has ended. If you don't make the payment within this allocated time the auction will be automatically removed from your won items and re-listed.
10 I have won a item but it's not showing up in my Won Items?
It can take upto 5 minutes for the order to show up in your Won items after the auction has ended.
